Advocating for your child is the #1 thing you need to do as a parent. Children aren't aware of what their needs are, so it's up to you to be their voice. It's not always as easy as that though. Sometimes you have to fight school districts for much needed services or convince an educator that your child belongs in a different classroom.
If it's all too overwhelming for you and you would prefer to be their parent instead of their advocate, Ilene will take over your case and get things done swiftly and spectacularly. Ilene also attends IEP/504 plan meetings to ensure the best interest of your child is the priority.
A minimum of 5 hours is required. Ilene never requires parents to sign a contract- if any advocate asks you to do this, it is a red flag.
